ISLAMABAD: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has suspended Zulfiqar Ali, senior auditor, collectorate of sales tax, Faisalabad, with immediate effect, said a notification issued here Saturday.
The CBR said that its member administration has found Mr Ali guilty of misconduct under section 3.1(b) of Removal from Service (Special Powers) Ordinance. However, it added that Mr Ali will have the right to appeal to the appellate authority within 15 days from the notification of his dismissal.
