MUSCAT — The ninth meeting of the permanent committee of the AGCC Accountancy and Audit Bureau Employees began here at Hotel Crowne Plaza yesterday.
The meeting will review over two days a report of the training committee’s activities during the year 2002 and approve the training plan for 2003 and meeting of heads of accountancy and audit bureau. They will also consider activating the working teams assigned with revising the auditing rules draft for supreme apparatuses of audit and accountancy in the AGCC states. The meeting will also discuss exchange of expertise among other relevant topics. Sayyid Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidi, State Audit president, yesterday held talks with the chiefs of the audit delegations.
