ISLAMABAD (December 15 2002) : The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has given duty drawback on the export of plastic mats from December 9, 2002.
The extent of repayment of custom duty would be Rs 7.19 per kg on the export of plastic mats.
The CBR has included a new schedule 'LXI' after schedule 'LX' in standard SRO.415(I)/2001 through an SRO.894(I)/2002 issued on Saturday.
The raw materials used in the finished products are polypropylene and pigments (master batch colours).
However, manufacturer-cum-exporters of mats are required to fulfil the conditions laid down in SRO.415(I)/2001 to avail rebate facility.
