Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, the global professional services organization, announced that Jeffrey P. Rohr has been named chief financial officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and its U.S. member firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Rohr, 54, has served as regional managing partner of the U.S. firm's midwest practice in Chicago since 1995. He succeeds Bill Fowler, who is retiring after 38 years with Deloitte, the last nine as CFO.
As CFO, Rohr will join the firm's U.S. operating and executive committees as well as the global management committee, leadership panels responsible for setting and reviewing strategic objectives and
executing the financial plan.
Deloitte's midwest practice is now the largest in the region, with nearly 5,000 firm professionals across five states. It was ranked first in Emerson's most recent Chicago Area Client Satisfaction Study and placed 10th in Chicago Magazine's “25 Best Places to Work” survey.
Rohr began his Deloitte career with the firm's Miami, Florida office in 1972 following his graduation from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
