LAHORE (June 15 2003) : In the Punjab Budget 2003-04, the government has announced an increase of 15 percent in the salaries of its employees and pensioners.
Punjab Finance Minister Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dreshak said in his budget speech that realising the hardships being faced by government employees and pensioners, the government has decided to increase salaries and pensions with effect from July 1.
The Punjab government took this decision after the federal government decided to increase salaries and pensions in its Budget 2003-04.
