History of this tax...... & Who r eligible to pay this tax what is the procedure to deposit this tax?

acha Laptop tell me one thing
If H.O is in Lahore & sub office is in Karachi so in this Scenario is karachi office is liable to pay professional Tax
if salary is made in Lahore Office?

professional Tax ki inrollment district ki sata par hoti hay,,,,,
karachi may jo office hay wo District Excise & Taxation Office k pass enroll ho ga, or employees ka professional tax bhi yahin jama karwaya jaye ga.

Professional Tax rate is Rs.150/-

I think prof tax rate depend on the status of company like min rate of pvt ltd compani is rs 10000 then it varies with paid up capital similar in case of proprietor ship dif slab rate base on capital

I think Rs 150 is for Sindh
As per (Punjab Ordinance 2000 "Second Schedule")Person who are engaged in a profession, trade, calling or employment professional tax is Rs 200
