The first four modules have to be given in the first two years... Which makes it a 6-month duration per module...
The last two modules are to be given over a four-year period... Each module consists of four subjects, making it eight subjects in all.

U mean that the exams of last 2 modules r taken after 2 yrs for each module.And if some one get failed in a paper in one of last modules he will lost his 2 years..<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

...its total 6 modules A-F
Commonly you'll find yourself entering in the profession after your Fsc. You join a college studying for Module A - D. Each module is of 6 months and exams for modules A-D are held in March and September each year. If you are brilliant and lucky enough, you'll pass each module in first attempt (you cant appear in more than one module at a time). .......So lucky enough to pass it in two years....... then you head for 4 years articles in a firm. After getting registered as a trainee student, you may appear in Module E after two years of registration (cant appear for Module E before that). Exams for module E & F are held in June and December each year. Only after passing module E, you can appear for Module F. And after passing F and completion of articles, you can apply for Associate membership of ICAP and write ACA after your name.

And dont worry about timing. I joined the profession after doing my graduation and completed the whole thing in less than 5 years. so if i can do it, then so do you

though there is an adverse side too, during my PE exams, i saw a baba jee with white beard, must be in his later 40s or early 50s.... i thought he was one of the invigilators.....and when the paper started, he was among the students.......
I have seen a good majority of persons in their 30s among those appearing for final examz......... so take a good time to consider

I have heard most worst situation Bowman,
Once a Father and Son both attempted the PE II, and son qualified in that attempt, and Father had to appear once more time, then he also qualified.
so Son Qualified before Father <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
