Now we all know that you haven't even attempted The Oxford Brookes RAP. Because if u would hav, then u would know that Mentors provide Approved Samples of previous students so as to give an idea about the structure of the RAP. And NO ACCA or Oxford Brookes rule forbids showing your RAP to others. So in effect its NOT CHEATING.
I would like to congratulate u for the awakening of your conscience because a few posts back what you said is in effect promoting CHEATING and i quote
<b>"...but still if you are facing problems in making the project and you decide to take help from someone, like for example CFACCA then make sure that this person does a new research everytime, and his project is not similar to his previous ones. infact he shouldnt do a similar project as the one like yours in the near future either."</b>
Read that in context of Pg 35 n 36 of the RAP Info Pack...and that would be classified as justifying cheating!!!

if the person has already made up his mind to have theproject readymade, none can stop him, the only thing we can do is warn him that research project should not not similar to the others. you yourself are providing a free approved RAP sample, and justifying the act of cheating!!. now i am not in a habbit of guessing whether the other has completed his/her professional ethics module or not.

the mentor is NOT supposed to provide samples of previous projects to his students. its not his duty as a mentor. its a shame if a student who has done the project doesnt know it and dont know this and even a bigger shame if he has completed the ethics module and still unaware.
surely you and if you have done your RAP, your mentor havent read the PROJECT MENTOR NOTES available on the ACCA website.

<b>Oxford Brookes University BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting
Notes to help your mentor</b>
You do not need to have expert knowledge of the field of the student’s research
or in research methods.
You should not expect to give the student direction onthe content of the Project, relevant references or the design of the research

the mentor is NOT supposed to give an idea about the structure of teh RAP.if he did (maybe in your case) the mentor and the student are cheaters.

you say <b> And NO ACCA or Oxford Brookes rule forbids showing your RAP to others. So in effect its NOT CHEATING. </b>
now what is the mentor doing if not cheating?

What you are quoting is Pg 16 of the Info Pack. The words
"the mentor is NOT supposed to give an idea about the structure of teh RAP" are no where to be found any where in the Info Pack. So thats your own concoction. The most interesting thing is that if you read Page 29 of the Info Pack....The Recommended Structure is infact provided by Oxford Brookes University themselves!

I still believe that READING the RAP of other students is NOT cheating...ofcourse its cheating if you are copying from it...its cheating if you are copying from ANY book if you do not provide due credit.

Lastly i believe that this argument is going nowhere and we are BOTH in violation of the Forum Posting Guidelines which specifically states that <b>"Do not engage in "verbal battles"</b>. So pls accept my sincere apologies for channeling the words towards u, which should infact have been directed towards CFACCA.

Odyssee, i agree with you , its turning into a chicken fight. that's what i am saying too reading is not cheating but copying and pasting is . students who want to get things through the shortcut are putting themselves, their carrers at a big risk as these RAP's are not being checked at their local university by their own tutor. if a person is in a profession making projects, he may use similar info again and again. do u think its possible for anyone to make a new project 11000 words long everytime for every student on a different topic. i think its impossible.

i dont make claims from my side. the project mentor notes are provided on the ACCA website separately. have a look at them youreself

The free RAP sample offer is btw still valid! I read the ROLE OF THE PROJECT MENTOR and i still do not consider providing free samples as cheating )
