- Toronto_Boy - 09-07-2010 Dear 1337 Sorry for delayed response. I think there is no harm in applying without work experience, except application and mailing charges etc. Strong recommendation letters from previous teachers and good GMAT score can help. Any State can be better where your luck clicks. Hard to tell. Teaching assistanceship can be one source but usually comes after 1 or 2 semester results. Check for sources of financing available to int'l students, on university's or school's website. Usually, student should have 2 semester fee. Time was good before. Students were used to drop full semester, saving some money through full-time jobs, and then completing next semester. I heared that now-a-days restrictions are strong as schools are required to report inactive int'l students to security agencies. Wallah-o-allam. I also believe that if I would do required work and efforts for success, Allah too would help me. So, most of the time I get required results. If I do not get something after continued efforts, it means then either time has not arrived for that thing or Allah's will is not there. Therefore, remember if we do required work/efforts, then most of the time we get results. But remember no one in this world knows what gonna happen in future. Not at-least me. But we all hope for the good, again depending upon efforts, luck, and Allah's will. So, you should just do your job/ efforts, and hope/pray for the best. Kisi doosri related category main bhi tu apply kia jasakta hay agar job responsibilities fulfill hoti hon tu, jaysay 1122 ya koi aur. Agar phir bhi kutch nahi ho sakta tu phir abhi sabar karain jabtak kay, required professions list main koi changes nahi hoti. Wasay main nay appko pahlay bhi kaha tha kay main immigration consultant nahi hun. Bahtar hay aap kisi consultant ya immigration.ca ki website par Islamabad applicants kay thread par maloom karain. Mujhay iss say zyada nahi maloom. Agar aap 21 saal say baray hain tu sponsor bhi kutch nahi karsakta. Family member ki thru aana bhi koi aasaan kam nahi hay. Kafi mushkil requirements hoti hain. Aik tariqa student visa kay zaryay ho sakta hay kay, pahlay aap student visa par yahan aakar study karain, aur saath hi visa status change karnay kay liay koi koshish karain. I have done my ACCA, done almost 3 year's work experience (so planning to apply for membership very soon) but i don't have any previous Uni degre from anywhere. the reason i am so eager to know about uni degree coz i am planning to take the CGA membership through ACCA-CGA MRA as advised by u. i know i can submit the Oxford Brookes project to get the BSC degree which will help me to get the CGA membership. i have already submitted the project but my fear is that if i fail my project i won't have enough time to redo the project & resubmit as i will have to move to Canada b4 the Canadian PR visa expires. so, do u have any knowledge of any college/ uni in Canada from where i can get the Honours/ Masters degree with a affordable price like UK (as i mentioned on top for around £2,000 pound)? this will really help me out as i am really scared to move to Canada just with ACCA membership & having to wait/ spend a lot of money to gain the CGA membership just because i don't have any uni degree....... please help me, bother, if u can..... - sunnyfish2001 - 09-17-2010 Dear Toronto Boy, It is very nice of you to give so much helpful information to us. I have some doubts too. Let me tell you my story, 1. I have worked for 5 years after graduated from a university in Shanghai of China, bachelor degree with major of accounting. Now I have found a new job in a Shanghai CPA firm for only a couple of month. 2. I have passed most of ACCA papers except P5. I hope to finish and get to ACCA member next year. As soon as I get it, I will transfer to CGA immediately. 3.I have applied to immigrate to Canada two months ago, and I estimate the waiting time might be two years, so I can do something to prepare myself during this time. My destination is Winnipeg, I would like to find a career job there. My question is that, 1. I would like to find a job of auditor when I get to Winnipeg, do you know the circumstances of CA firms in Winnipeg or other similar cities in Canada? Because I do not think Winnipeg is a large city with lots of jobs. Do I have to get a CICA certificate? and How to get it if I were a CGA? Can I get some papers exempt? 2.I have an option, if I become ACCA member, I can access to ACA and become an ACA member within 2 years. Then I transfer to CICA without further tests. Do you think it is feasible? I have heard that becoming a CICA needs Canadian CPA firms admission and experience, which is not easy to get in Canada. Please give me some advice in CICA certificate. I regard it as a good tool to get a good job. And I really would like to get some soft skills and become a helpful worker when I get Canada. What should I prepare now? Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to your reply. You may also submit your project for Oxford Brooks even from Canada. After that, once you have all requirements satisfied for CGA then you may apply for CGA after landing here. I don't think you may get any related masteres dergree here in Canada in equivalent of British Pounds 2,000. So, if your PR is expiring then you may land here, then go back to UK and complete Masters degree and come back with-in 3 years to complete remaining 2 years mandatory requirement. Please note that I am not confirmed about this 2 out of 5 year requirement. So confirm it before doing anything. As I said, masters degrees are more costly than BP 2,000. So, if I would be you, I would do it in UK using 2 out of 5 years residency requirement. Though choice is yours. I don't know any ligitimate Canadian University which offers masters degree at this much low cost. Please do some online search. Moreover, if your other options are riskier, then why don't you spend more time and efforts on Oxford Brooks project to pass with surety. I hope it helps. Best Wishes |
