thanks sportyspice. what if i start cfa after clearing my ACCA exams as i'll get bsc accounting degree from oxford brookes??
almost all of us people are here in acca and ca is to make money, if cfa offers more, then i better join that....
..
will i get any job related to cfa experience requirements after my acca & bsc accounting? as there's a lot of financial management involved in acca??

i had once posted a similar thread long ago....
its almost consensus that CA students,studying in petty tuition centres,don't have any opportunity to socialize and acquire interpersonal skills that university or other 'institute" offers...
thats why people of other deptt in companies say that finance walay sarial hotay hain...
to those who think its either uni life or professional qualification..i say this....its not a case of either or...i am 100% sure that i would have been studying as well as now...but also having some social skills....
one more thing...its the social connections and friends in uni that later on help you in ur life.....if u get to make friends dealing with various things like..some shop owners,those whose dads are in govt. deptts....these connections help u where ur CA can't do anything...
icap is so lame....there should be some university/college type things.....or icap should allow univesities to teach ca students...bcoz in universites there is also possibility of having highly qualified teachers....

Hi, u r absolutely rite noman here i would like to add that icap should do atleast something about a campus or a buidling like icma in each city so that the all students of each city can study at same place it will also eliminate dicrimination.

ausman if you like doing accounting then continue this field after acca as being a CA is a good option.....remember CFA is not easy and you may regret that afterwards...you say that you study too much finacial management in ACCA...believe me its nothing as compared to CFA....yes we all want to make money but making money is easy in what you enjoy doing.....i am not undermining your abilites for CFA but i dont want you to loose your focus aswell.....yes if you find it difficult doing CA and may opt for MBA after that than CFA will be an ideal option for you...
