but i also say onething that is being muslim we should try our best do our 100% and then we should wait for DIVINE help....but if we do nothing and always sit for having DIVINE help this will not be helpful to us....one example that i want to quote here is of HAZRAT MARYUM where ALLAH(S.W.T) made a suorce for her food in form of a DATES TREE but she still need to shake that tree to obtain those DATES...and this example is very special for all of us that the DIVINE HELP only occures when we also try to do something.......

I am also having an openion infact all muslims should have that what ever happend in world is alwys possible when there is an assent of ALLAH...and If there is no assent of ALLAH nothing could be happend...and so we know that ALL the MUSLIM UMMAH in under the greater influance of Yahhod-o-Hannod...and they are(Yahood-o-Hannod) in dictating terms they are in driving seat..and this also was possible because their is ALLAH's(S.W.T) assent but this not according to ALLAH's Wish because ALLAH ALways wish that his most favourable UMMAT-e-Muhammdiah must be in ruleing part....despite of this we are so behind Yhood-o-Nasara.....just because of our acts(Aamals) and onething which always is a big matter is that of "JEHHAD SE DOORE" and this is the most countable infat accountable factor for all of Us...................and our history is having evediance that when ever muslims started JEHAD FE-SABEL-ILLAH they became dominant..and whenever they left JEHAD they became UNDER INFLUENCED...

So my dear brothers it is also possible for ALLAH(SubhanaWaaTa'aall) to convert every non muslim in to muslim but he need some efforts from our part....and being muslims we should have strong faith in ALLAH...and we also should pray that may ALLAH(S.W.T) give us leaders like Shaikh Sallah-Uddin-Ayuebei, Muhammad Bin Qaseem, Mujadid Alf-e-Sani, Shah Esmail,Shaikh Sayed Ahmed(Rehmat-ullah-allyh) [Ameen Ya Rabbal Aalamenn]......

Dears,

I have never and I can never argue against Jehad (Naoozbillah) as it is one of the five basics of Islam. Still, there are so many Jehads. Being muslims all of you are aware of it. Jehad includes but is not limited to the Jehad of Sword. One should know that as per Hadees, Jehad of sword is called Jehad-e-Asghar while Jehad with resources, money and time is called Jehad-e-Akbar. This includes, building the mosques, development of research centers (both for religious and other knowledges), imparting of education to poors and unresourced persons, publishing of Islamic books and disseminating Islamic knowledge for those who want to know about Islam. Preparing muslims as a nation to face the others when required. This includes sceintific research and development as well strong economical developments. Correction of own mistakes. Controlling our NAFS and contributing everything which one owns, for Islam that may be required in the circumstances. We have examples of Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique RaziAllah Ta'ala and Hazrat Umer Bin Khattaab Raziallah Ta'ala who contributed full and half of their total owned good to Islam, respectively. This is Jehad-e-Akbar.

Further, muslims have to use their judgments in deciding timing and extent of Jehad. When Jehad with sword is required and muslims have IJTEHAAD on it, it should be done as well. But it must not be done rashly or without thinking the circumstances. Understanding the circumstances and identifying the critical issues have been explained to us by Islam. Sulah-e-Hudaibia is it's greatest example. Fatah-e-Makkah is the greatest example of muslim attitude with the opponents on having success. We cannot find any better example of attitude of winners against losers as has been laid down by Fatah-e-Makkah.

Muslims should not be expected to do cheap when they are in power. Our prophet peace be upon him has personally given us practical examples. But I regrettfully feel that in so many cases we have been very cheap as a nation. And this unfortunately started at the very outset of Islamic history soon after the WISAAL of the prophet peace be upon him. I quote the incident of Hazrat Imam Hussain Raziallah Ta'ala. After that it continued until now. I wonder how the brave and strong men of Allah like Hazrat Umer Raziallah, Hazrat Usman Ghani Raziallah and Hazrat Ali Karamallah found shahaadat. It was the time of power of muslims and our Khalifas were not safe. I dont know how it happened but it was strange and history in all normal books remains silent about such incidents. Students and common muslims are deliberately not informed about the reasons of such incidents. We have a lot to change. We in fact need first of all a Jehad against our ownselves.

I heard that Doctor Israr-ul-Haq has recently said that Jehad with sword is not required in current circumstances unless the muslims become able to face the opponents technically.

I dont know whether or not this news is correct. If you guys can throw light, I would be obliged.

Dr Mr Israr Ahmed is not an Allim he is only a common man..... and for your kind information he has no PROPER insight in Islam...because he a teacher less student of Religion Islam......and this is universal fact that in religion you should be a devotee of any teacher and without teacher you might start you own interpertations and....for you further kind information i also want to tell you that Mr Israr Ahmed often carry out Tafseer programs...but for Tafseer one need to be expert in atleast 13 ULOOMS like Fiqah, Nahow, Mantiq(Logic), and others and without these proper 13 ULOOMs one have no right to carry out tafseer programs in public gathering......i am not against him neither i am criticising him but i only want to say that MR ISRAR Ahmed is neither any ALLIM nor he is Mufti-e-Azam Pakistan.... and i don't know how he said this thing(May be due to undue influance of Govt.).........for you further kind information JEHAD is FARZ on Muslims in current situations and this is the time where we all need to start working on it....................

But one thing that must also take into account is that JEHAD in only became obligation on common muslim when government asked common muslims to do so........ and now a days JEHAD is FARZ on us..... but this will be in the supervision of "Neeek Muslim Hukumarran........... So i want to say that JEHAD is only FARZ in the supervision of Ammer-Ul-Moomineen...and so jehad is farz on our Government authorities......and they(GOVT)are consistently becomming the MUNKIR-E-JEHAD......so common people are not having commited any sin because they can't do anything in their personal capacity..but Government can do because they have resources with them.....

And in last i also want to say one thing that JEHAD IS FARZ ON US AND WHEN GOVERNMENT ASK FROM US TO DO SO AND IF WE REPUDIATE FROM THEIR HONERABLE ORDER THEN WE WILL BECOME A MUNKIR-R-JEHAD otherwise all the sin will be on government partif they don't make a call of Jehad anymore

Dear,

Off course I agree that Jehad is Farz. I appreciate your understanding on Government's role in Jehad and responsibilities of individuals.

Still, I feel that Jehad has many facets like what I wrote in my last message. Further, it is not necessary to initiate war (Jehad with sword) without considering other involved issues and without predicting the outcomes.

One needs to deeply study and understand the incident when Muslims came back to Madina Munnawwara without performing Hajj under an agreement with Kuffaar-e-
Makkah while they all knew the character of Kuffaar and the validity of their promises.

Further, the incidents of Shab-e-Abi Talib and the incident of Hijrat from Makkah show us that we have bene guided to predict the outcomes and use our mind before taking the decisions. In my view it has never been so simple for individuals as well as governments. We must not think negatively on this issue. We should be cool headed and then we should think and plan. Wars suit when we have power to do so, UNLESS THESE ARE IMPOSED. Even if these are tried to be imposed, matters should be handled politically until the time we resume the power and balance becomes equal or favorable. However, it mainly depends upon circumstances and other factors influencing the decision.

However, Jehad-e-Akbar (endeavor to expand Islam by preaching and publishing and financial sacrifices for such purposes) must continue in whatever circumstances. It has nothing to do with power balance situation.

I think Pakistan might be able to do something, if we avoid wars at least for 50 years plus with focussed stress on education, technical, economical, political and financial advancements. We need a lot to research. We are more than 50 years behind the advanced nations and to compete them we have to continue progress for 50 plus years with almost double pace.

Unfortunately, it does not appear to happen in Pakistan where we cannot even resolve our own issues. What we have to do with aliens. We are even unable to resolve our disputes. This does not appear to get a change in these circumstances. In this situation we would always remain the losers and then I feel Doctor Israr Ahmed's advice would not be a wrong advice. One should get into war in such situation, if he wants to be killed.

Considering or non-considering someone as Aalim is your right. I have no objection.

I am not a follower of Dr. Israr Ahmed. Further, I dont much like the Mufti employed by Government Mr. Muneeb-ur-Rehman. He might have knowledge but I dislike him. One may conclude him as a best scholar.

Despite not being a follower of Dr. Israr, I understand that he has master degree of Islamic studies, master of philosphy of Islam and Doctorate of Islamic studies etc. from recognised universities and as such he does not appear to be a non-aalim. Still, you may not find him as an aalim. The Tafseer Programme conducted by Dr. Israr rarely focusses on Tafseer. If you have seen that programme, you will know that he only presents the translation with somewhat expanded words. It is not a Tafseer in my view.

Anyways, I dont much comment in his favor becoz I dont know him much personally.

You should not use such words for Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman altough he is very different from my sect but in this regards i will advocate him because he is not only an Alim-e-Deen but also he is chairman of your Hilal Committee.........but its my request to you that please don't oppesed others if you don't know much about them.....

now lets come to the point ok if i accept your point of view that we are not in condition to apply war theory...but could you tell me what was the position of muslims on first GHAZWAH(GAZWAH-E-BADR).....when only 313 sahaba-e-Kiram(Razwanullah-ta'laa Anh) were infront of 1000s of time greater force of(Kuffars) in both quntatively and in terms of war tools also.....

only 313 were against severals of Kuffars without any oil reserves without any technology without any big force..........but they have the GUNS of Emman with them........i am not comparing Sahabas with us neither i can compare because we are not infact 0000% of them they were most special people we are worse then ordinary....but the point i am telling you is that if we make us proper muslims if we build our Emmans then victory is not far away....

Recently i read in news paper that "6th May" was the martyr day of Syed Ahmed Shaheed's(Rehmatullah-Allih) and i read whole article on him and i was ammazed by reading the facts of his Shahadat "he was in the narrower place in Rock(and was very secure place) in NWFP's region and has command and control system of Muslims........but only because of a GHADDAR the Farangie Force had Sahheed him and lot of his Companians......so my brother first we need a JEHAD in our country to get rid of people like MIR JAFER and MIR SADIQ.......

Because if you analyse the history one ammazing fact will be discoverd to you that every time muslims were defeat just because of GHADDARS(like Mir Jafer and Sadiq).....

i also need to quote here a Mafhoom of a Hadith that once in future muslims will be facing deep trouble just because of (JEHAD say Doori).........

In Palistine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Soomalia, North Taimoor, Kashmir and many others every where Muslims Rights are infringed....

I don't know what the Technology will do even if your 1000s of brothers are consistently martyr in above specified areas....anyways getting more competent in technology is not a bed idea at all but we need to priortise our tasks what we should do first what are our strenghts, weaknesses.........and very shamefully all the muslim world is having huge Oil reserves despite they all are GHULLAM of Yahoodi Looby......

Dr Israr Ahmed is good scholar of islmic history no doubt at all...... but he should not suppose to make his openion in critical religious beliefs regards as it was not his right to do so those who preserves such rights to decleare what to do? when to do? how to do? are much more competent than him in this Area.....
I personally like Dr Israr beause of his Assertive behaviour in religious thoughts but if he said this i only say to him that Please UNCLE this is not your right those who preserves it knows better than us what to do

Dear Amir,

Your so much discussion is based upon "we can do it if.............happens". You critically analyse the current emaan's situation and say that if bala bala things are corrected, we muslims can do this and do that. I agree to you in all these presumptions. Your examples of Syed Ahmed Shaheed, Ghaddars, Farangies, Mir Jaffer/Mir Sadiq etc also touch the heart being based upon historical facts. The example of Ghazwa-e-Baddar is also correct to show the difference in balance of power etc.

The most prominent problem with us is that we think if this ....... will be corrected, we will do this and that. Who will correct our faults. You know how long has gone when we started commiting faults. It starts from the incident of Imam Hussain Raziallah and even before it. What not and what not the kings of muslims have done. Lots of wives, keeps, wines, disputes of getting power and every other bad deed was the part of our emporers' common lives. Even Akbar presented Din-e-Ellahi. What has not gone wrong since ages.

We assume that we can correct this all and we can overcome every loss which has been sustained by the cause of Islam due to these factors. Can you get any of your task done from any government sector official without bribe. It can happen but not in 95% cases. We Pakistani feel that we are the fort of Islam. What not is being happened in this fort of Islam. People (who are muslims) have been convicted of ZANA with dead bodies in graveyards in this fort of Islam. Will this have a minor impact on us as a nation. I dont find a reason to understand that in Pakistan Zana-bil-Raza is lesser than any european country. Every city I mean every city is full of red light areas (not commonly categorized as such)and *****s. NWFP has become an evident of Males wedding with a Male. What more should happen to declare us a destroyed nation. Wadairas do the act of ZANA BIL JABBAR with poor female like Mukhtaaraan Maai and government also threats her not to disclose these things to international media and agencies. How cheap is it. None of the accused have so far been sentenced. How much murders we daily read in newspapers. Is it allowed in Islam. No. yes again this is happening in this fort of islam. Government is involved in killing of its opponents and no body in the world can ask them why they do so. Examples of Bhutto, Bugti, Hakeem Saeed, and many more could be found out. This is the biggest wickedness of governments. These all were out of court decisions of so called governments. Sometimes courts were used as rubber stamp. All institutions including but not limited to police, courts, taxation, wapda, kesc, social security, revenue departments etc are taking huge bribes. Now politicians like Shujaat and Pervaiz Ellahi have asked such departments to make them daily basis payments of millions from such bribes as their share. It is really happening. We lie so much for our benefits or purposes.

This all and much much more is happening in Fort of Islam.

I agree that this might also be happening in advanced countries but happening such stuff in islamic country is strange. I dont feel that governments can or should control it. I dont feel that Ulemaas take Danddaas in their hands becoz it will again be a breach of law and they wud also be subject to trials. I understand that this will be changed only and only when we all would like to change our ownselves. Every one who is taking bribes is from us. They are our brothers and sons.

So, I feel that so much has to be changed and it cannot be done over night.

It is not so simple that if we do this.............we will be able to do this.

I respect Mr. Muneeb but I dont like him.

I appreciate your interest and your passion for islam. But dear it has never been a wise act to fall into suicidal wars.

I know what happened in Ghazwa-e-Badar. I dont know what you have belief but I read that Sahabas saw men in green DASTAARS who were fighting against Kuffaar and were not from those 313 persons. I beleive that such things can happen with Nabi Pak PBUH and Sahabas but not with muslims like us. Further, Ghazwa-e-Badar was an imposed war on muslims. Muslims did not attack Kuffar in Makkah. Rather, Kuffaar attacked muslims in Madina. We should not ignore that in almost all Ghazwas, muslims fought only becoz Kuffaars imposed war on them or it was almost supposed to be imposed in very near future. Therefore Muslims replied. The only war when muslims took initiative was Fatah-e-Makkah and you must know that no war happened in this Fatah and muslims attitude was greatest.

Therefore, every example cannot match our situation.

We need to study the history completely.

The Hadees that muslims will face troubles due to leaving Jehad is apparent. But this is not for leaving Jehad now. It is due to leaving Jehad from ages. Muslims did not prepared arms and amunition like others. We did not made aeroplanes, rockets, atom bombs and other advanced equipments. There is a Hadees in which muslims were advised to keep their amunition and horses always reday. We left doing so since Mughal regime. Others progressed swiftly.

Therefore, we have to work very hard. In almost double pace than others and at least for 50 years. Then we might be able to do something.

Otherwise we should not think to defeat opponents.

You are 100% right....you every word it self is enough to deeply analyse the causal connections with past....however i disagree to you on you sayings regarding "MUKHTARA" i can't use some words here for he but i strongly in favour of one point that is Mukhtarra had Cashed her rape....did you see her styles after GANG RAPE..... when she went to America and other western countries she was 100% cashed by PROSes of NGOS she was 100% cashed by a shamefull women so called Asma Jahjanger...these NGOs are working with the monetry support of Jews... you could see what happen after 8th october 2005 several of NGOs did too much lewdness in BALACOAT(the city of Shuhhadas)....but those organisation who are true organisations for Human protection like AL-RASHEED,AL-AKHTAR, JAMAT_UL_DAWAH,ALAMGIR TRUST....were banned by our Government....i have no soft corner for MUKHTARA because she already enjoyed her rape with earning of lot of Dollars and Sterlings....

How ever you are all in all 100% right about situations but your sayings that ALLAH(S.W.T) only helped Sahabas this not the case although Sahabas(Rizwanullah) are greatest in EMMANS and allah helped them just because they have a highly believe in ALLAH's Help and they try their best of best...and if we also Leave the results on ALLAH and started our best then the help of ALLAH will not be very far away...

it was the routine of SAHABAS that when ever they face difficulty they always turn towards ALLAH(by oferring Nawafils) and ONLY ASKED FROM ALLAH about their help and then ALLAH help them...

now we can see what we do when ever we face difficulty we turn towards DUNIA and we start our own struggle to cope that situation without asking help from ALLAH....

And i once again say try your best pray to ALLAH and then leave results on him....ALLAH will do every thing we just need to only present our selves we only need to devote our selves...then the help of ALLAH will not be far away infact ALLAH will help us himself because this Pakistan was formed only because of ALLAH's Help and he will also remain it intact - INSHA-ALLAH

What you said about Mukhtaraan Mai is not a hidden fact. Every one knows that she had earned millions after that rape. But we cannot say she had enjoyed her rape. We should have fear of Allah. These are very big words which you have spoken. Anyways this is your doing and beleif and I dont find a reason to change your belief.

Yes, Mukhtaran Mai earned a lot from other nations. Asima Janahageer type females used her name every where to disgrace Pakistan. But it never lead our courts and governments to close their eyes from the rape acts being done in this society by crual wadairaas and politicians. What your goverment and courts have so far done for that female. Nothing. I mean it. Then why we blame her for going to other countries and seeking their financial and moral help. Had any one of us gone to her city/village for giving her courage and to assure her for justice. Noone has done this. It is a muslim country. Shame on all of us.

When we all are live deadbodies then we cannot blame her for her acts. You dont know from which area and from which poor background she relates. You know every one in this country is more than a Mukhtaraan Maai. Had Altaf Hussain and Benazir not taken assylum from UK. Are they not speaking against Pakistan in those countries. Are they not accepting financial helps. Every one has done this all including Nawaz, Benzair, Altaf and many many more. Then why we only blame a poor helpless raped female.

We all Pakistanies will have to answerable to God for such acts of our societies. God does not destructs the nations without reason. We all are on the edge.

May God give us a vision to look back to our deeds and acts.

And whatever happen to karachi the responsibles of this was MQM,PPPP and the Cheif Justice Himself....i see him smiling when already 100s were injured and 40 were died......i see him and his CHUMCHA Aytizaz Ahsan freshness on their faces when karachi was in Flames and fighters were aflamed....i regret i show my sorrows on whatever happen who were responsible for about 50 deaths who were responsible for 200 Injured ...i saw that relatives of Died people were Crrying their FACES saying that we left all in ALLAH(S.W.T)....tell me who called Cheif Justice to visit Karachi which in already under the GREATEST TERRORIST PART LIKE MQM.....who told Mr CJ to go for Jubilations in Karachi his Advisors like Aytizaz Ahsan who don't know about him his past who don't know about Benazir.....

I strongly Condemn what ever happend to Karachi Just because of "ANNA PARASTI" of Cheif Justice of Pakitstan 50 were died and about 200 were critically injured......i regret this all CJ is now become Politician he has no right to join office in future......

I cannot speak on Karachi's incident. It is one of the biggest loss and matter of shame for us as a nation.

Off course Etizaz Ahson is from PPPP and has political charter. But in my view CJ was only intended to go to High Court. Still, off course there could be other political intents as well which should not be there at all.

The issue is that a nation's leaders are a reflection of them; they do not come from heaven.. hence it is necessary that we change ourselves.. it is a high point in our nation's history.. today our conduct will determine the future of this nation.
And it does not require money to change; simple things like
<ul><li>deciding not to give/take underhand graft even if it is 20 rupees to the traffic police wala to avoid challan or 200 rupees to get a fake birth certificate... </li><li>start a massive campaign for police reforms which means changing the whole character of police if it means disbanding it for a couple of years.. so be it.... they do not do anything anyway </li><li>belief that we have the same civil rights which are endowed to a citizen of a modern nation and fight for each and every right - and fighting does not mean being violent.. even writing a blog will do but we must speak up and I guarantee we will be heard </li><li> be honest to ourselves, our families and society as a whole - it looks simple but it is very difficult hence a small step will do </li><li> demand accountability from public institutions - e.g. KESC / WAPDA and it does not mean throwing stones at their offices... it means writing about it... emails.. mails .. faxes... come on its cheap and it will definitely get registered.. </li><li> be fair to others and demand to be fairly treated </li> <li> Use your vote judiciously.. remember it is not easy to get rid of the rulers that you select... and dont think your vote does not make a difference.. it does.. it makes it difficult for corrupt officials to rig elections and with enough votes to the right person you never know </li></ul>
Small steps today will make a big difference tomorrow.. our elders and previous generation did not do their duty.. but we should...

CBPian I used to be or still am a stronger believer of the point of view you mentioned. Its the people who constitutes a nation and its govt. The leaders and the officials are representatives of population, so its very much natural they will show the reflection of peoples attitudes. I mean if the people are corrupt and morally weak, leaders got to be like that. So, if we mend ourselves we do not need any revolution, this is what I referred as INKILAAB IN ATTITUDES in one of my earlier posts on this thread.

However, at the same time, its very much assured, everyone is not going to change himself automatically. And a minority who believes in changing themselves first will have to submit to general attitude, as it will never be easy moving away the flow for whole of your life.

Another fact is that, suppose a change has been brought, its never going to be long lasting until and unless people do not change themselves.

Another approach, in this regard, is that this society has consciously been divided into haves and have nots. And, its a deliberate effort of the haves to keep things going like this, to ensure this division continues.

However, one, I will to refer to myself, who is dishonest and morally corrupt has no right to object the govt, system or authorities.
