SED on Import item is abolished from 20th June and reduced sales tax rate of 16% is charged on import items from 20th June, 11. Is this true?

but mjm54580 CBR does not issue any notification in this regard.

S.R.O. 489 (I)/2011.â In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3A and sub-section (2) of section 16 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, the Federal Government is pleased to rescind its Notification No. S.R.O. 655(I)/2007, dated the 29th June, 2007.
2. This Notification shall take effect on and from the 1st day of July, 2011.

Amendments sirf SRO ya Finance Act k through aati han newspaper k through nahi,
Special Excise Duty SRO-655/2007 k tahat lagti hay. Or SRO 489/2011 k tahat khatam ho jaye gi 1 July 2011 say.

Amendments sirf SRO ya Finance Act k through aati han newspaper k through nahi,
Special Excise Duty SRO-655/2007 k tahat lagti hay. Or SRO 489/2011 k tahat khatam ho jaye gi 1 July 2011 say.
