Will read the rest at some other time and will comment on em afterwards. The author of the Asia times article displays the typical pre-2003 indian mentality who is still paranoid about ISI and its so-called linkages to Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Daniel Pearl's killers. The following para says a lot about the mindset of the author.
quote
...who continue to claim that the "war on terrorism" is mere shadow-boxing and that September 11 had been organized by Islamabad with the help of al-Qaeda at US behest after the neo-conservatives ruling the US needed a pretext for fulfilling their imperialist agenda.

Not much different from what our own conspiracy theorists like to shout. We just conveniently blame it all on Israel. [)] |
