Salam
Bothers! one of my friend had just done graduation in commerce and he is seeking for MBA. He asked me about "Institute of Business & Technology BIZTEK, Karachi". Since i don't have information about it, if anyone of you can tell me about these questions?
Do BIZTEK enjoy some market value?
How will you rank BIZTEK amongst "MBA offering schools(IBA, CBM, KARACHI UNIVERSITY)" according to market value?
What is your last word about BIZTEK(Should he take or not admission)
And
Also any suggestion or alternative for him

PIPFA intermediate is equal to BCOM ( as PIPFA intermediate qualify student gets admission in ICMA without test) so can a student who is pipfa intermediate take admission in MBA from any university if he is not done BCOM , BA , BSc but only PIPFA ( inter )

KRSS.....First of all, you have to clear your misconception of about MBA. Actually MBA of many Institutes ( especially in Karachi ) are not relatively in a competitive position & you have no chance of having success after accomplishments of MBA. BIZTEK is one of them ( & i dont know whether BIZTEK is affiliated from University of Karachi!). Suggested wording is that " If a person gets an MBA degree from one of the most renowned & & prominent Institutes or Universities then he/she are much more able to get an appropriate exposure according to their qualification as well as a good job"
Inspite of doing MBA from any other institute (like BIZTEK)... I would suggest you some name
1. IBA
2. CBM ( Korangi Creek)
3. HAMDARD UNIVERSITY
4. AGHA KHAN UNIVERSITY
5. KARACHI UNIVERSITY
6. PIM ( Pakistan Institute of Management, near to the clifton & also affliated with IBA)
7. Muhammad Ali Jinnah University

PIPFA intermediate is Not Equal to B.Com.
ICMAP Exempt from Entry Test to those students only,
who passed PIPFA intermediate Plus Graduation(B.Com,BA etc)
PIPFA intermediate is Not recognised and accepted by HEC
equivalent to Graduate(B.Com,BA etc)mandatory/Complusory
requirement for Maseter degree(MBA,MA etc)
So a person who is PIPFA intermediate only,
can Not Do MBA from any HEC recognise
Institution/University according to my Knowledge
But He/she can take admissions in ACCA for CAT and
may be get exemption from papers T1,T2,T3,T4(after
fulfilling some conditions by ACCA,as per ACCA policy)
and there is NO Exemption Fee for above papers of CAT
only registration/Annual Subscription Fee
and after completion of CAT he/she can take admission and
exemption from Three papers of part 1 of ACCA main stream
(if choose so at the time of registration/admission in CAT)
and There is No Exemption Fee for CAT passed students for
exemption from part 1 of ACCA
