How to make 2 + 2 = 5 (or how to be an accountant) - hanifasif - 12-15-2005
So here I am going to prove 2 + 2 = 5
16 â 24 = 4 â 12
(4)(4) â 2(4)(3) = (2)(2) â 2(2)(3)
Adding (3)(3) to both side of the equation
(4)(4) â 2(4)(3) + (3)(3) = (2)(2) â 2(2)(3) + (3)(3)
(4 â 3)(4 - 3) = (2 â 3)(2 â 3)
Taking Square root on both sides, we have
4 â 3 = 2 â 3
1 = - 1
1+1 = 0
2 = 0
Dividing both sides by 2 and later adding 4 to both sides
2/2 = 0
1 = 0
1 + 4 = 0 + 4
5 = 4 or 4 = 5
Or 2 + 2 = 5
So the above proof proves that I am a professional accountant, which in fact I am.

why the hell u posing as if you have done this calculation!!
its floating around the net for years and u think u did bcoz u are "accountant"....and also this doesn't concern accounting its maths...

Yaar my mail was just to have fun, never to show that i am a super accountant or I am a math wizard. Come on yaar dont make a big fuzz out of it.
and Mr. Baig I am very well settled in Middle East and I am amongst the key professionals of my company. So please you need to learn that one should make sure before passing comments about anyone. And one thing, can you please point out where did I (or the guy who came up with the original idea) violated mathematical "roles" (as you say it).
