Should i start internship in acca part2 - ausmanpk2001 - 03-31-2006
Hi
My question is that I am getting offer from a big firm for acca trainee intern.. I am student of acca part2. Should I start intern at this time??? Will I be able to carry my studies with job??
But someitmes I think that I would have to start intern after ACCA, then why have "Ragra" at this time. Will I be able to enjoy life with friends etc after intern??? members who have done or doing articles can answer this question more better....
I am much more interested in CFA after ACCA. But its not definite that i chose CFA. Can I get intern in a CA firm with investment related job (to qualify for CFA experience)??
Senior members, people having experience in intern please guide me...

yes u should start internship now b/c i know an acca who didn't completed his art. and now he has no job offer more than 8000 because he has no exper. so my advice is that u MUST start ur articleship now!!

well usman i will not recommend u to join CA firm during studies. becoz i know 3-4 people who started articles while doing ACCA. and i havent seen any of them successful. main reason being the leaves factor. u dont get much leaves in firm and u dont get time 4 studies when u r on audit. and another thing that if u want to do CA after ACCA ur articleship b4 qualifying ACCA will not count 4 CA purpose
so dont do it
