Hi,
start preparing ur accounting from Frank Wood's Business Accounting...it is a very helpful book...when u feel that u hv mastered this book then start studying from Mukherjee's Modern Accountancy...
Donot adopt rattafying strategy for Law...just read the topics with concentration as many times as u can...
from time to time check ur abilities w.r.t pastpapers...
I think IT is not a big deal...

Timetable

Every person has varying capacity depending his/her intensity of motivation to achieve the object, habbit of hardworking, mental and physical conditions, domestic soundness of family financial and other conditions etc.. Therefore, you've to judge that how much you can spend time in 24 hours for studies. I don't claim my policy to be the best suited for everyone. Yet, I would like to share with you. I've no time table. I've set my preferences in two categories

- What I must have to do at any cost !
- What can be postponed !

What I must have to do is to support my family and brothers financially for even day to day basic necessaries and CA studies. Moreover, I myself have to bear the expenses of CA studies too.

What I can postpone, to meet friends unnecessarily wasting my time, saying just "Farz" prayers of five times instead of saying all the "Sunnats" and "Nawafils". I just read one or two or mostly one page of "Holy Quran" and read it's translation also in the morning. I've left watching T.V. unnecessarily; although, I use to watch news but only on sunday. And so on....

Breifly, I get up early in the morning, say fajar prayer, read the holy quran just one page mostly, bring the things for breakfast and open the shop of my father "General Store". At 800 am, my father comes to the shop and I take breakfast. After that, I just prepare myself and go to the academy for teaching tuitions. I come from teaching tuitions (home tuitions) also after the prayer of Asar. I don't take lunch because, I can't afford. I just take two times bread. One in the morning and the second in the evening with "Daal" daily. Often, I cook "Daal" myself because, where my father is a sever heart patient there, my mum has got insane. My brothers are younger than me. And often they help me. I also wash the clothes of all the persons of my family myself alongwith my brothers on Sunday.

Well, after returning from tutitions teaching, I say asar prayer, and again handle the shop. During this time, my second brother handles the shop. My father just stays for an hour or two in the shop causually. My that second brother goes to take tuition of Mathematics in the academy where I teach also. He comes after Maghrib, then handles the shop and then I say prayer and take meal. After that I remain sitting in the shop till late at night upto 12 or 1 O' clock and also continue my studies of CA. I close the shop, near about 12 O' clock, and then again, start study in my room or often, in the same shop closing it's doors, because, my home not so big. I spend time upto 3 or 4 O' clock morning preparing for CA.

And just take two or three hours sleep. And this is being happend since I was in 5th class. Due to which, I lost my mental ability to sleep for a long time. Because, I can't sleep. I've got problem in my mind. Well, I would not like to discuss it in detail. Then again, morning comes, and I get prepare to live my life .............

I've recently passed my Module(B) in first attempt. But could'nt pass Economics, therefore, i would have to wait till this attemp.

So, from above, you can get the idea that when I can do all this, you can also. Just you need is the courage. Stamina ! No matter, your life conditions would be far more better than me. And you may not require to live such a hard life as I. But from above, you can sense, that how to manage the time. So, a student has enough time, but usually he wastes in unnecessary activities.

saad..

frankwood is for those first time...........go through it for 1or 2 weeks...the leave it and focus on mukerjee....

for law ..my personal suggestion is go for M.c Khuchhal....the book has little bit of tough english...but if ur english is goood....this book is excellent...bcoz he explains topic..not only write the law...

for IT...defiitly pbp study text..

- Saadanwar - 05-15-2006

- insaan - 05-15-2006

yar saad where r u from ?
r u student of sir khalid fareed?
if yes then study from his notes as 1st priority
then from book by N D kapoor
and keep the bare acts book besides u and make sure that u have covered all the sections
by the way u hav mentioned cheema's boook
his book is also nice and would suffice the purpose
if u r comfortable wth cheemas book go with that and attepmt only legal problems from ND kapoor But remeber cover the whole sylaabus..its not necessary to cram all te matter but take care of few legal terms in expressing your views
regarding accounts i wont say anything because i only depended on our teachers lectures and
same goes for IT but remember the best book to prepare 4 IT is study text

Yes, each and every character of my statement what I made in response of this post is true. I would not like to claim. I would like to invite you to come to my home even on my own expenses; spend one or two days with me and experience my life. It would be an adventure for you and you will also get the veracity of my life too.

Your word "joking" hurt me, but not more than the joke the life has made to me.

If you wish, you may surely send me eamil at [email protected]

Thanks !

NOMAN bhai, aap naay tu M.C.Kucchhel parhee thee naaa...it is an excellent law book.

- noman - 05-16-2006

for law..i still recommend mc kuchhel......u can go through cheema but kuchhal is best for understanding....icaps out of course questions also come from kuchhals book...

for IT..thing is...there are some specific MIS books in libraries...check them if u can get some idea...but if u cover pbp text..even though it seems haphazard and lacking...it is the key to succes...if u only study last 3-4 chapters carefully...i am sure u will get thru mis portion...

- noman - 05-16-2006

yes about..laws sections...
u must study keeping in mind weightages and portions in the syllabus...
in my case..i focused on following

1-agency+guarentee
2-partnership
3-insurance,carriage etc
4-property

then i put less effort in these

negotiable insrumtns
sale of goods

and at last i did the contract portion...

if u can't understand a portion..leave it completely and thoroughly study others that u can understand...
