Is B.Com Mandatory? - Salmancert - 05-23-2006 AOA, I am a bit curious after reading a few posts here and there that is it mandatory for any ACCA student to also do B.Com if they want to get a good job?. what about the ppl with CAT as a background? are the B.com ones prefered?. Plz reply ASAP I shall be grateful to you - Salmancert - 05-23-2006 plz provide detailed answer, What about those who qualified with cat?. Ain't it weird if they don't accept CAT students? DO they accept CAT students as well, mean to say that If someone has done CAT before ACCA. - Salmancert - 05-23-2006 What do u mean to say CAT is not enough? If we have ACCA after CAT isn't that enough. - Pracs - 05-24-2006 Sorry Salman I am not sure, I have been out of Pakistan for some time now, back in my days any one doing ACCA was also a CA registered student. However, not having a degree would not effect your career in the long term, since you do earn the BSc in Accounting. I think it makes sense to finish of your ACCA first if you do not have a graduate degree, and then try for a training contract. - certifiedaccountant - 05-25-2006 juz want to ask if a person is eligible for MBA after doin ACCA ?? Also i heard dat ICAP has withdrawn the exemptions dat it used to offer ACCA students .. is it true ? - ausmanpk2001 - 05-26-2006 haven't heard anything like that.. |
