Please look at the following threads

You should also try to contact the local ACCA office in Karchi, they will be able to tell you about employers/firms looking for ACCA students and affiliates. If you are an ACCA affiliate all Big4 would be able to offer you some thing. If you are an ACCA student, then as far as I know only FRSH take in ACCA students...

AoA pracs
i have also read this topics but i think it belong to CAs and i m the studant of ACCA and i want to ask one more question
Can CAs & ACCAs done our articalship in every firm and what is better for ACCAs to doing our articalship in Audit firm or any other company

Hi, i dont think dat only FRSH takes ACCA students, there are a whole lot of firms who also take ACCA students. I know many ACCA people workin in different firms. Ofcourse, u all know an articleship in a CA firm is not a must for an ACCA he can work in any company subject to someconditions. I hav always found ACCAs debatin wether a company is better or a CA firm for them for their 3yrd training, u may get better money in a company but as far as experience is concerned a firm is much preferred.
An ACCA who wants to do articles with CA firm, just take the list of firms top 10, 20 or even more have already been discussed here, apply there and definetely many wud be ready to entertain him.
Although, most of u know, an acca may join a CA firm after gettin registered with ICAP, in this case he is entitled to CA inter xemption and will ve to complete 3 years artilcles, this articleship will be considered both for ACCA and CA.
I wud suggest sumbudy who wants to do CA to start through ACCA route much easier and perhaps time savin

Aoa
thanks schuaeb for replying.i want to ask it is mast to registerd in icap for articalship in ca firm without registration i can't done my articalship in ca firm

Now sir i m not very much confirmed bout this, some firms do hav reservations in this respect. Reason being firms do not like the students who may quit soon, perhaps ther4 r more comfortabel with icap registered students.
i dont know wat is ur case and which firms u have applied in for artilcles. (if u tell details thins wud be easier)
But i dont find enuff reasons for not registering with icap and claimin xemption for inter (i hav no idea bout fees issue in this case) ur article will be counted for both CA and ACCA.
Please sum1 who has got more knowledge participate in this.

I Stand corrected, there are definately other firms who will have ACCA students, infact you could get the list of ACCA accredited employers list from your local ACCA office. I guess what I meant to say was that among the Big4, FRRM (now FRSH)used to be the only one who took ACCA students and most large firms do take in ACCA affiliates.

Schueb has a good suggestion there about completing your ACCA and joining as an ICAP registered student. A lot depends on what your long term objectives are.
