INVENTORIES, RECEIVABLES, INVESTMENTS,AND FIXED ASSETS, BEST REGARDS, IMRAN HASNAIN - shahzada - 08-04-2006 First Fixed Assets then investments then Inventories and lastly Receivables - AbdulRahim - 08-13-2006 It goes like this in Indian Format FIXED ASSETS INVESTMENTS CURRENT ASSETS Debtors Inventories Bank/Cash Receivables - accountant1 - 08-13-2006 FIXED ASSET IAS 1.51 INVESTMENT IAS 168 (e) INVENTORIES IAS 168 (g) RECEIVABLES IAS 168 (h) - Abdur.Rehman - 08-13-2006 The essense of this type of reporting is that the least liquid asset should be stated first. and in case of banks and financial institutions, the order is reverse,i.e. the most liquid is reported first. |
