A factory produces Transformers and Switch gears.The production is carried out in two departments A and B.The machins in dep A can work upto 6 hrs per day whereas those in dep B can work upto 7.5hrs per day.A transformer requires 4 hrs in dep A and 3 hrs in dep B,Whereas a switch gear requires 2 hrs in dep A and 5 hrs in dep B.The profit margin on a transformer is RS.5000 and on a switch gear is Rs.6000.How many transformers and switch gears may be produced to maximise profit in a month having 20 working days.
How many machine hrs will remain Idle during the month in each
dep at the maximum level of profit.
THE CONFUSION IS IN 20 WORKING DAYS.

i think hours available in each department shud be multiplied wid 20 and the answer shud be taken to the inequalities..
