What is the background of "Accounting for Construction Contracts" (IAS11)?? In Uk, previously this standard was known as "SSAP 9 - Stocks and Long-term Contracts". Then this standard divided into two IASs, i.e. IAS2 - Inventories & IAS11 - Construction contracts. So, any idea where i can find the different between pre & post of this standard?? Does Malaysia SME's construction company also need to follow this standard?
