Investment Horizon 5 or more years

a. Buy 'files' in Lahore or Karachi Defence Housing Authority phases, and simultaneously buy gold 'exchange traded funds' to hedge against the FX movements in relation to non-USD pegged currencies.

b. Buy Japanese equities.

Well i dont know if my idea would be considered as a good one. But still take it as its for free [D]

I would like to invest in buying ready made homes and give them on rent. The monthly income i get would go to my savings and the salary i get or my husband's salary would help me/us running my/our home expenditures.

Second idea is to invest on constructing a two storey Marriage Hall. Now days people like to go to marriage halls rather than arranging the whole function at home. I will make an agreement with a hotel, that would provide me with the food on order. In this way i donot have to make kitchen and hire cooks for preparation of food which is definitely a sir dard.
