ASSET MANAGEMENT - Cool Lioness - 07-30-2007
Does any one of you guys know anything about Asset Management? If i want to take it as career, what basic steps would be required? Are there any basic certifications or courses that i can do before i go for CAM ( Chartered Asset Manager)?

CFA kiyun jee? Mujh se itna ziyada nahin parha jaata. Waise bhi koi Assets se related certification bhi tou ho gi na. I know there is CAM that is Chartered Asset Manager. But before i go for that i need to make some base. right?

ya most of universities teach subject about asset managment in BBA AND MBA ,,, certification i dont know , , if u done bba or mba u can join any asset managment companey as internee , u can learn in that way also

The following should help you start thinking proactively about a career in asset management
a. Do I want to work in institutional or retail market?
b. Do I like investing in asset classes, researching, marketing etc.
c. How good am I in maths, economics?
