Dear nakaiun

It is OK. Not clearing an exam is not an unusuall thing. It happens all the time with every one. It is quite normal. Just do your best next time. Evaluate yourself. You could have passed 2 papers rather than attempting 3 papers and failing in 2. It is important decision to calculate how much burden one can take in his circumstances.

Next time, do more hardwork. You would pass InshaAllah next time. I know it is frustrating now, but be patient.

Regards

dear nakaiun there is always a second time. i passed f5 this dec sitting, it was my first attempt of the paper. i got a 66 mark, eventhough its not a very high grade, but still would say that u use ftc revision kit and Bpp text book as a combination.

Dear nakaiun
I can understand your feelings after failing in an exam paper and i wish i could assist you.
I cleard my last 2 papers in dec 2008 attempt and i am acca affiliate now. and two 4 days ago when i found out that i have passed all the exams i almost cried with happiness. But beleive me, i have faced bad days too just like you are facing now. I too failed an exam in one of my semester. If you would have given me your academic background then we could assist you better and make better recommendations.
But here is one thing that always worked for me
In almost all the exam paper, you can find out one or two man topics which are BOUND to come in the exam as they are the core topics. That does not mean one or two CHAPTERS from your text book.It consts of few cahapters.
Now use you brain and find out these chapters. An example is "Investment appraisal" in P4. Once you know it start to emphasize this topic from the begining and make it perfect.
Now here is the benifit of this.you normally face quesions worth 30 marks or more. So if in one of the 30 marks question you manage to get 25 marks, then it aint hard to get 25 marks from the rest of 75.
P4 AFM was one of the paper I attempted in Dec 2008. I managed to write only 78 out of 100 marks. I was dissapointed and assured of failiure. But i got 53 marks. And the only reson for this miraculous pass is that the Q1 of 40 marks I attempted was what i had prepared very well throughout the semester.
And beleive me. The same thing happened in my Business Law (former 2.2) and Financial Management (former 2.4)
We can only give you advice and nothing else.
Rest is ONLY up to you

nakiun the F5 exam paper format has changed. From June 2009 there will be 5 questions 20 mark each, one from each section of the syllabus for sure. please read examiner comments on ACCA GLOBAL website for exam.
