Why work experience for MBA? - muhammad rauf - 03-15-2009 salam, I want to know that is work experience inevitable to get admission in top universities?... I have noticed almost all the good universities in the world prefer work experience around 5 years for admission to mba.Why is it so?? Is there no way for fresh applicants to get admission in such universities? - CFANerd - 03-16-2009 Thats true. Because people who do MBA are mostly in their late 20s or early 30s or above. Their tuition is sometimes paid by the companies whom they work. MBA can become a hazard sometimes without any prior experience. But there are universities that can consider your application without any or little experience. If you do good at GMAT, your chances are very bright. You can contact universities regarding their admission policies. They are flexible sometimes. But there are some good schools like NOTRE DAM that doesnt require experience. Talk to admissions offices directly. |
