Well if you really want to do something demanding then go for CA(ICAP) ACCA is also demanding as you said any cheap qualification as ACCA is very costly qualification as compared to CA(ICAP).

I prefer you to go for CA(ICAP)

- ali ahmad - 04-14-2009

Dear Salman 13, if you are looking for a course which is equally cheap and demanding, u should either go for CA or ACMA.

Another course is PIPFA. All these are Pakistan Based.

As far as ACCA is concearned, its High Fee is paid in British Pounds.

- Mujahid - 04-14-2009

You can also go for Oracle Certified Professional, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information System Auditor certifications.

- ali ahmad - 04-15-2009

as far as Oracle is concearned, i think it is not so cheap.

- Mujahid - 04-15-2009

Oracle 9i is cheaper that 11th one.

i would recommend you not to take advice from faizee regarding ACCA, as previously in one of is posts he has given absolute wrong info about ACCA. i doubt if he has full kowledge about ACCA. i am doing ACCA , if you need info about it, just post your quiries here.

walaikum salam

please go through this link, it has valuable info about ACCA in Singapore

http//www.accaglobal.com/singapore/publicinterest/about/

yes it is very flexible, you can study and work. it only depends on how determined you are.

- Schuaeb - 04-22-2009

ACCA is expensive among the two option. However, still it is more recommended as it is comparatively easier. If you want to stay in Pakistan, you can start CA after ACCA, its easier and shorter route. ACCA is globally recognized, if you want to pursue your career outside Pakistan ACCA is the better option.
