Hey I do have one more problem, should we opt for doing CA after completeing our ACCA or shud v do it the direct way through MFC (Modular Foundation Course) easier being not an option which one has slightly more chance of us going through???

yaar you should start CA after qualifying your ACCA
coz CA inter would be exempted and than just 4 years of articles and than you would be a chartered accountant also after passing two modules.

Correction... After becoming an ACCA qualified, you need only THREE years of articles for CA.

ACCA route is still considered as best route to become a qualified chartered accountants.
But the problem which i have with some of my friends is that they are used to of studying from the syllabus prescribed by ACCA, when they have opted for CA they are facing little bit problems in preparing themselves for Mod E.

So after ACCA you go straight for your articles to get CA? If so, do the top firms prefer CA students over ACCA or is it same for everybody.

What i have heard is in Firms CA qualifieds never like ACCA< Sso usually they give them extra ordinary time....
& i think yes it,s tru eCA students are preferred in TOP firms then ACCA students

but why dont, you do a job in a nice company for training course of ACCA u,ll get experience as well as adequate salary

Yes, but the topic was getting CA after ACCA. So since the top firms preffer CA students, I think the MFC route is better.
