Aslamu Alaikum. Sorry dear I do not meet your reply criteria because I am a male. But I can assure you that your decision is right. It does not matter what people think about you, it only matter what you think about yourself. First you have to focus what you want to do then put your every effort to accomplish your need. Accountancy is a good profession. Simply you have to study relevant study material and get good writing practice. Presentation is also important. Always try to have a clear vision about topics and answer the question when you are assure about it. Work hard and have a good faith on ALLAH. There are many females who have done C.A in 1st attempt. You can be one of them. We can never predict about our future but we can only hope for good. My good wishes are with you. For any need regarding your learning, I will certainly help.

Hi,

Although i am male but to assure you that you chose a career you think that you have interest in, not others.

My parents wanted me to be an Engineer but i always wanted to be an Accountant. I made right choice and i am quite happy for the risks and rewards attached with it.

Futhermore when you go for higher or professional studies then i think that you can achieve it more easily if you have interest in it.

One of my friends failed in ACCA part 1 untill recently because he wanted to be a professional cricketer. Every time he was used to show false results to his parents. About 1.5 years ago he spoken with his father, his father resisted strongly but then agreed.

Now he is playing cricket from WAPDA and playing with national players. Next year he is hoping to appear in National T20 as well.

Bottom line one cannot achieve to fullest extent if he/she don't have personal ambition and interest in it!

Hi Qurat,

You should never be confused when making decisions because confidence of achievement drops down. To be successful in life you should think considering every aspect and then make a decision, after that you should be satisfied that you made the right decision and yes it is right. Never stuck in the middle when making decisions. You should make a choice and accept one side.

You should decide strong decisions and people around you shall change their opinion automatically as your decisions proved true! Atleast i done always like this.

Remember this knowledge is made by human beings. These are not Holy knowledge that you cannot understand. If some one work hard he got rewarded that's a well know fact. To strive hard is an essential requirement to succeed. If some one not so good in studies then by working hard he achieves the same level which an good/extraordinary student have.

Hi Qurat!
Asalam u Alikum
EM A gurl and currently doing C.A! I Have Cleared My C.A FOUNDATION Exams( MODULE A AND B) In first attempt! And hoping to appear in C.A Intermediate ( module C) INSHALLAH in Sept Batch!
C.A is good field for girlz but sometimes due to social problemz it becomes tough to manage study time ! Family cooperation is very important because along with me my 5 friendz had taken admission in C.a but 2 of them has quit due to extended class timmings..
C.A Requires dedication ,determination and desire! If u think that u can give 12 hours straight to only studies! C.A Is not a big deal for u! as u have been a Pipfa student u better know how to deal with studying schedules and time managing!
I Recommend u to apply for C.A In this autumn 2010 batch! TABANI'S SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANCY IS BEST FOR C.A EDUCATION IN KARACHI ! And I M Also a student of Tabani's .
Hope this post Helps u to be firm in ur intensions
If u need any kind of help u can mail me at [email protected]

While I agree that CA requires dedication, patience and hard work, probably more than what other fields require but you cannot put a number to it. Number of hours you put in is relative it varies from person to person. I have seen people who only study in exam leaves and yet clear their exams in first attempt. At the end of the day its how and what you study that matters and more importantly how you reproduce that in 3 hours during the exams.
