Please Guide me - meerhassankhan - 03-14-2010

Dear respectable friends
I am student of ACCA & with the will of Allah I’ve passed 7papers now undertaking 2papers for june2010 attempt in order to become part qualified. Recently I came to London in a hope to do study along with job but here situation is absolutely different which is out of your mind. I am planning to move to Dubai, where few of my family members live, in a hope to find job in a relevant role and to keep continue my study as well. I need suggestion from those people who work and do study in UAE that are tuition providers good in Dubai and could I find relevant job (in firms specially) in Dubai along with study as a part qualified student.
I’ve already worked in Dubai as a receptionist in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. I love to stay over there due to some reasons.
Please guide me I am in state of frustration because I don’t want to spend my time in London anymore.
Hassan

Hi,

I recently came back from London in December 2009 after staying there for 1.5 year approximately and i know why he is frustrated.

I shall advice you that studies are most important and go where you can complete your education and experience more easily and the best place is your home country. Overseas education and experience is good but only when you have enough money in your pocket to support your expenses.

My know some people who went to Middle East and most of them are successful and i also know those who went to UK and most of them are unsuccessful.

@Yasir

One should struggle hard when there are obstacles but there is eventual success in the long term. But there are some situations when you cannot succeed even you struggle, right!

Remember long term success is also dependent on the short term success and achievements and in case you are losing 100% then how can you be successful in the long-term?

Dear,
Congrats on your success of 7 papers. I can imagine the disappointment faced by you. Making PpL DREAM about UK, unaware of the harsh realities there. I won't advice you to go to dubai at this time, as it is facing heavy debt problems and crisis.
As Adeelkhan advised, finish ACCA in your homeland, gain some experience there, then move abroad if you want to
