Need some Information about ACCA - anajlam - 05-11-2011 Assalam O Alikum, This is Anas Shamsi from Karachi. I m doing BCOM (privately) from Karachi University. Now as I want to do ACCA my friends says its not that worthy so want some information regarding that or advice me some other course which will be more beneficial, my budget for 2-3 year studies is 4-4.5 lacs. I would be really thankfull if anyone help me in this regard. Allah Hafiz (GOD Bless All) - arsenal.gooner - 05-11-2011 to an extent your friend may be right but it depends a lot on person to person. Furthermore, you have to weight down different options available to you in terms of their relative strengths and weaknesses. For eg., if you can into, say, szabist for mba, that would be a better option but that does not make ACCA worthless nor does it mean that szabist mba is the end of the world.. Another option would be CIMA whcih is another very good qualification. They even offer exemptions to bcom.. Hope this helps.. but if you are looking for more help, plz share your future ambitions (must be clear, dont be vague like i want to be successful since that wont allow us to analyze your situation). Rgds - anajlam - 05-14-2011 Thanx for reply arsenal.gooner.. Yes I understand that doing MBA from SZABIST is better but that would take ages because I am in part II of BCOM. Now I think that doing ACCA is better but tell me 1 more thing can it be better to do MBA after ACCA or advice me some other studies which will enhance my Accounting capabilities and worth in market after doing ACCA.. Allah Hafiz - anajlam - 05-14-2011 I am already 25 years of age so want to start my professional career as soon as possible and also a lots of commitments to fullfill ) |
