My dear friend either you are incredibly smart or incredibly over smart. On one hand you believe in the EXACT words of Quran and on the other hand you acknowledge the need of Sunnah (practical demonstration). I think thats precisely what PRACS wanted to tell you that unlike most of the verses this is an area where we need to understand the TRUE meaning instead of following on the face of it, as it may mean something "slightly" different from what is usually perceived.
May i also make it very clear to you (in advance) that i believe in Quran (Alhamdulillah) and I try to understand the rationale.
I am afraid the way you propogate Islam is not very convincing. Always try to support your arguments with logic specially when you are posting on a forum where you have lots of non-muslim members.
I am answerable for my own deeds and you are answerable for yours but please be careful when you quote Quran in your conversation as incorrect quotation can mislead many.
Can i conclude that you couldn't manage to find any verse which condemns the "scriber of interest". No problem, i couldnt find any either. Could you (being NOT a layman like me) post some Hadiths which clearly condem the "scriber of interest". It would be of great assistance if you could also provide the references and whether those Hadiths were "Sahi/Mashhoor".
Best regards
