ADMISSION [ACCA]
There are three (maybe) ways to enter ACCA.
1 Professional Examination Rout (PER)
To follow PER you must be over 18 years of age and have a qualification acceptable by ACCA. You can also gain certain exemptions on the basis of your previous qualification. In Pakistan you can be B.Com, B.Com (hons), B.A, B.Sc or Masters from any recognized institute.
2 Mature Entry Rout (MER)
Students having no such qualification can follow MER if they are 21 year old. To follow this rout they must pass two papers in two years following the date of their registration. Papers are M1 and M2 equivalent to 1.1 and 1.2.
3 Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
By doing CAT you can directly enter to the part two of ACCA. For this you must be over 16 year of age.
