Dear Nakaiun,
A lot of discussion has been going around in this aspect in this forum. Personally, I feel that even the introduction of Pakistani tax and law variants are going to make no such huge impact on the market standing of ACCA in Pakistan. It'll take more, on the part of ACCA, to get the due recognition in the market.
Again in my personal view, employers are reluctant to employee ACCAs because they have not been trained at a CA firm, as it's not compulsory for ACCA members to actually train in a CA firm to get membership.
It will require the collective effort of ACCA, its members and students to make ACCA more marketable. But who is going to take all the pain and more importantly when?
