With due respect Kamran bhai i dont agree with you. I had the figures when in 2005-6 the industry was at boom ICAP passed more then 100 students and last year it was 0.07 or something like that. My teacher who is ICMAP finalist had the numbers. More over i believe he cant lie to us only because he is an ACMA instead of ICAP. He stated both ICAP and ICMAP have the same strategy (being an ACMA we might think he is against ICAP but how he can be against ICMAP?). so it is better to go for foreign qualification.

ad2478 I have to disagree with the statistics provided by you, the number of students qualifying each year is almost consistent and a bit more than what you stated. 175 students qualified in the summer attempt and I anticipate similar number of students will pass the winter attempt (result is due shortly). According to my opinion a slight downward trend in passing percentage may be there provided the current market situation, however, slight as I said.
I do not say that ICAP's result are zero percent co-related with the demands of the market. As an example result of CA Inter can be seen. ICAP used to pass around 500 to 550 students per attempt, however, it fell by almost hundred in the spring 2009 attempt and almost 450 students passed CA Inter in current autumn attempt. This proves to me that ICAP has to consider the market factors alongwith other factors while determining the passing percentage.
