My dear fellows! well after all this what we pronounce that we are evils! We are still best. I dunno why the hell pakistani companies are being compared with enron and firms as Anderson, i dunno which other profession has Code of ethics to be fully complied with. Are they engineers or they are doctors, or are the computer scientists with a code of conduct like accountants have an institute like ICAP is. Yes we are not pious but who is. Its not the profession but u, its not the vocation and technique but u, its not the atmosphere but u and its not the people but u.
One will be accountable in the biggest AUDIT and thatâs an audit too so by the way its a Nobel profession. Allah will be doing our audit too...
My point is that its not the profession as such but the Pakistani mentality and the Pakistani culture of indiscrimination and the humiliation of minorities and the unequal wealth distribution which have made us all not the CA but all, materialistic. We all talk abt wealth and money and status and prestige and power. The only thing which happens with CA is that they have an industrial exposure unlike doctors or unlike the engineers, so they have better chances to be doing what u all say UNTRUTH AND UNFAIR view other wise every on in Pakistan who has the power is trying to exceed the limits.
I am the believer that if u have courage in ur self and u have the ethics in ur self u make the difference otherwise every one over here is from Arthur Anderson.
