salaaam all,
well, vigilant, sorry to hear abt ur misfortune, but, it is all weird.
as far as ur queries abt BBA concern, let me tell u tht the right policy for doing BBA (whether BBA-hon, or BBA-pass, or BBA-four-yr) is tht the student shud ve completed his/her A-level (or F.Sc. in pakistan). then the student is elegible for BBA program. this practice is exercised in all reputed institutions abroad n in pakistan including IBA, KU, LUMS etc. but some private institutions ve launched four yr BBA tht u can join right after O-level, without doing A-level (or FSc i guess)!!!!. this prog is not in its due-spirit yet in pakistan. CBM is doing it. they offer two variations of BBA. one is the regular BBA(hon) tht requires A-level / Fsc. second version is BBA(4-yr) n requires O-level. this 2nd version BBA prepapares stdnt for their A-levels exam also n they can switch to normal BBA(Hon) program afterwards!!! just imagine, they themselves ve under-rated their BBA(four-yr).
such 4-yrs BBA progs, at least i beleive, r not so worthy. IBA is abt to launch a true BBA(four-yr) program n it shall require the students to b qualified A-level/F.Sc. this is a real BBA(4-yr) prog tht other foreign institutions offer as well.
so i suggest u to take a BBA(hon) prog instead of BBA(4-yrs) tht does not require A-level/F.Sc. after all, Fsc/A-level is also the minimal entry requirement in other professions also, then why not in BBA? why to make BB a four yr degree n prepare stdnts for A-level during it?
ur second query is abt MBA. well, if u do BBA(Hon) from KU, then MBA will take just one year. this policy is exercized by IBA, n other good institutions as well. but if u go for repuattion n market value, IBA still rules.
decision is urs now. but i strongly advise NOT to take BBA(4-yr) progs tht dont require Fsc/A-level.
