Dear Students
As far as my information about ICAp examination and paper checking system is concerned, it is quite flawless. Each question is checked by only one person. So no question arises about getting a bad impression if answer to one question gets messed up. After checking, numbers attained in all the questions are compiled. There are some cases that qualify for getting passed. There are some cases that qualify for getting failed. e.g if passing marks have been set to 50 and you obtain 55 marks then you are definitely pass. If you obtain 35 marks then you are definitely failed. Cases in which students obtain 40 - 45 marks will be selected for overall performance review. These cases are individually discussed for the number of attempts that have been availed by a particular students, performance by the student in other papers, level of dificulty of a particular paper etc. After consensus of the whole body, they make decisions about these cases. This was the story when ICAP did not use to have a certain passing percentage. I dont know the story afterwards. Guys ......... Just look at the candidates getting qualified.......they always use to be better than candidates who dont get qualified ........... Stop blaming ICAP for the wrong judgements made by yourself during exams and before exams. ICAP just want quality preparatio from you..........Thats all ......... I know at least 10 of my juniors about whom I was sure the they will definitely be chartered accountants and they are now mashallah....... There is a combination of hardwork and intelligence required. If you are more intelligence then you'll have to work hard ..... If you are not that intelligent then you'll have to fill the gap by workinh harder and providing inout with more study hours ........ Remember .... becoming a chartered accountaqnt is not easy but it is not that difficult either ........ Just improve your expression in english because most of students get failed because of bad english ........
Good luck to you all .............
