depends upon the employer. in general employers go for the candidate best suited for their organisation in all respects. Exam marks doesnt guarantee a higher level of IQ. Experienced employers/interviewers are aware of this fact, they assess the candidates' abilities during the interview and pass on their judgement based on that.
