I used to think like that especially considering my own self but this is not the situation. Trends have changed and students are selecting chartered accountancy as their first choice. I personally know board toppers who opted this field.
The point I want to make is different. Many people whom I know had pathetic academic record but they did well in chartered accountancy as against some of those who had been much brighter in their academics earlier. I want to say that our education system is not so designed that the toppers and failures are the most intelligent and dull students.
Many students who join chartered accountancy are those who are not able to get admission in the traditional over-crowded fields like engineering and medicine, however, it never means they are inferior in talent.
