Qatar investment group goes into liquidation
Tenon called in to take on the job
15 July 2009
Jo Rolls and Steve Parker of Tenon Recovery have been appointed by creditors of Silver Leaf Capital Partners, a private equity investment group, as its liquidators.
The failure of the company marks the first corporate failure of a registered limited liability company in Qatar since its regulator, the Qatar Financial Centre Authority, was established in 2005.
Carl Jackson, national head of Tenon Recovery, said âThis appointment further demonstrates our ability to handle innovative cross border restructuring and recovery cases. We have previously completed the first Centre of Main Interest deal conducted in the UKâ.
As liquidators, Rolls and Parker will be conducting a thorough investigation into the past trading of the company.
