i think it is true in many cases. LUMS n IBA enjoy the privilage of putting their passing out graduates in job in multinationals. a couple of my class fellows r in LUMS currently, n many others r in IBA(karachi). so i m more in touch with karachi fellows. they tell me tht top executives of big multinationals frequently vizit IBA, n conduct interviews on appointed dates etc. n also offer the job directly to the most brilliant students. other students also get in before passing out. they ve a well operating placement-centre!!!
u know wht, comparing MBA with ACA or ne other similar qualification is not justified. MBA is very diversified, n in many occasions, comparision is never possible. if u talk abt accountancy n corporate fiance jobs, ACA is definitely the obvious preference. but a company has many other functional areas as well, eg, marketing, human resources mgmt., etc etc. in this case, MBA is definite option. so i believe tht comparing MBA n ACCA/ACA etc is not useful. it is just like comparing apples with oranges!!!)))
