Is there any provision in tax for avail exemption on school fee of children?

If any salaried individul pay his children school fee, can this fee adjustable against income tax.

Zara,

Children fees may not be adjusted against salary income, for the purpose of getting tax rebate.

Only those exemptions may be availed, which have specifically been provided for this purpose.

You are given basic exemption in this regard for example you are not taxed upto certain level. Though these exemptions are not realistic or updated to current inflation level but....
