I loved the lyrical musicality of above lines. I wish I could ask the great Zia Mohyeddin to read out these lines in his incomparable recital shows.
Did anyone of you ever see him reciting poetry or prose ? Wallahay, he is style personified. I challenge any body in Pak to read Shakespeare,Faiz or any other great work in the same mellifluous style that this great entertainer employs in his recital sessions. Hmmm so much for the digression, here is âIâ or should it be âyeâ. I think âyeâ. Yaar aashna na koi, takraain kis say jaam Kis dil rub kay naam par khali sabo karain â¦... â¦...
