Muhammad Rehman i think there is little mistake taken by LAPTOP. Well i am paste here rent tax shedule, where company's rent tax deducting.
(b) The rate of tax to be deducted under section 155, in the case of company, shall
(1) Where the gross amount of rent does not exceed Rs.400,000.
5 per cent of the gross amount of rent.
(2) Where the gross amount of rent exceeds Rs.400,000 but does not exceed Rs.1,000,000.
Rs.20,500 plus 7.5 per cent of the gross amount of rent exceeding Rs.400,000.
(3) Where the gross amount of rent exceeds Rs.1,000,000.
Rs.65,000 plus 10 per cent of the gross amount of rent exceeding Rs.1,000,000
Mr. Muhammad Reham if your company year ending June Rule 2 applicable if Dec is ending year your applicable rule 3.
and tax calulation if Rule 2 applicable
100,000 * 6 = 600,000 - 400,000 (coz exceeding from 400,000)
= (200,000 * 7.5%)plus 20,500
= 15,000 + 20,500
= 35,500/6 = 5,916 per month from Jan to june
and tax calculation if rule 3 applicable
100,000 * 12 = 1,200,000 - 1,000,000 (coz exceeding from 1,000,000)
= (200,000 * 10%) plus 65,000
= 20,000 + 65,000
= 85,000/12 = 7,083 per month from Jan to Dec
Mr Muhammad Rehman please if your financial year ending is June you will apply rule no 2 tax calculation and in second year you will tax rule no 3 if shedule not change.
Mr. Muhammad Reham if your company year ending June Rule 2 applicable if Dec is ending year your applicable rule 3
Ap ki is bat sat itefak nahi karta may,,,,, Rule 3 may aap jan to dec tak ki income calculate kar rahay hayn, jo k sarasar ghalat hay,,,
Tax calculate karty howay financial year nahi balky Tax year ko daykha jata hay jo k pakistan may July to June hay,,,,
Rule 3 may aap nay 2 Tax years ko ikhata kar diya hay,, jo k ghalat hay..
Misal k tor par agar Jan 2010 say Dec 2010 financial year hay in ka,,,,,, to Tax year k hisab say Jan to Jun 2010 tak ki rental income Tax year 2010 ki ho gi landlord ki, or July to Dec 2010 tak ki income Tax year 2011 ki ho gi,,,,
is liye aap ka rule 3 sarasar ghalat hay,,
umeed hay meri baat samajh aa gai ho gi,, agar or kuch pochna ho to zaror pochiye ga,,,,,,, may mind nahi karta.
Ager is tarah dekha jaye to hum dono hi ghalat hain, kyon ke na to unhone ne apna financial year likha na hi yeh bataya ke Jan to Mar ke baad bhi pay huwa hai ke nahi.....sirf Jan to mar hi huwa hai.
Aur tax year Jan to Dec aur Jul to Jun dono hi hotey hain...) Jabhi tax return Jun or Dec mein jama hotey hain, jese ke bank mein hota hai.
74. Tax year.- (1) for the purpose of this Ordinance and subject to this section, the tax year shall be a period of twelve months ending on the 30th day of June (hereinafter referred to as ânormal tax yearâ) and shall, subject to sub-section (3), be denoted by the calendar year in which the said date falls.
nahi,,, agar special tax year hay to return jama karwany ki date bhi usi k hisab say hi ho gi,,,,
par special tax year layna itna aasan nahi hay , us k liye reasonable ground hona chayea k akhir kyon zarori hay,,, sirf aap ki khowahish par aap ko special tax year nahi mil sakta,

Laptop and other tax experts i have a query regarding rent. Please answer it if u can
a property is owned by 5 owners having equal share.company pays Rs.20,000 per month as rent. Annual rent is Rs.12x 20,000=240,000. Wat would be the amount of tax to be deducted by the company.
Two options will be
(1).Rent= 240,000/5= 48,000 P.a for each partner which is btl hence no rent
or (2) 240,000-150,000=90,000x5%=4500 tax liability
Company jitna rent pay kary gi usi k hisab say tax withheld kary gi.
Owners us rent ko apny share k hisab say apni total income may add kar layn gya..
â66. Income of joint owners. (b) the share of each person in the income from the property for a tax year shall be taken into account in the computation of the personâs taxable income for that year.â
Us rent par jo tax withheld howa us ka creadet property owners ko mily gay a nahi is bary may ITO may kuch nahi likha.
