Dear Imran. Following might be helping you in this matter.
* Principles of Accounting (By Hanif & Mukharjee)
* Advanced Accounting (Shukla)
* Cost Accounting (Matz n' Usry)
Above mentioned books are highly recommended for in-depth studies and building strong effective long lasting accounting concepts in any accountancy profession whether it's BCom., CA., ICMA., or like else.
However, if you find them difficult and have no background of accountancy, you may opt for following
1) Principles of Accounting (By M.A. Ghani)
2) Advanced Accounting (By M.A. Ghani)
3) Cost Accounting (By Shahid Nadeem)
But I would prefer the first combination. It might be difficult at first, but you will enjoy later on by reading and practicing wide variety of questions alongwith necessary explanations.
Best of luck !
