Humaira,
No one is fighting or quarreling here at all, infact since your post contained reference to a 'Quranic verse' it is our duty as muslims to investigate and put the record straight. There were and are no two opinions about it. If you read through various posts above all memebers have tried to find out the Quranic verse and there can be opinions about its interpetation and relevance to 9/11. I for one have not read or heard any renowned scholar refering it to Quran.
Reading and understanding the Quran is a science in itself, many a times isolated verses do not form the substance and there is back ground and continuity within the Chapter/s (Surah).
Its always good to read carefully before posting on Public forums or forwarding emails, especially if it relates to Quran or Hadees, more so if it is on a controversial topic such as 9/11. As goes in accounting we always refer back to IFRS/IAS if a text book confuses you,.. same should be for important matters as above.
No harm done, as far as it is rectified. It did bring me to start reading Surah Tawbah (Chapter 9) which is quite pertinent specifically for Muslims living in non muslim societies and in general for all Muslims
