Atleast I wud say 1 thing,HSSC passed students and especially I.COMers shud not go for ACCA route to CA...and I am talking in a general sense, exceptional cases are there...ACCA study is more systematic in nature and I think requires more mature mind as compared to our HSSC passed students, as our HSSC is based on a desi syllabus and exam style, leading to vague understanding of very basic concepts...
Infact if you suggest an A level student to joing ACCA route will be a fair advice for him, coz their study scheme is such that they are much more mature ones as compared to our HSSC...I will suggest you to see the syllabus of A Level Accounting, and you will find that 2.5 of ACCA is almost covered...their mathematical skills are also much better...
And Schuaeb you will find that your mathematical skills will help you a lot in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting, especially in case of Cost Accounting...
