nope... i aint bringing in religion as some ppl like to do when they can't think of anything to say. What i was trying to emphasise was that islam has given womenfolk an exalted status and has given some special privilages to womenfolk. Our eastern culture, inspite of its cons (honor killings, MMA, taliban), does also require that women be allowed certain privilages, especially in public places.

But then, nobody should abuse the privilages being granted to them as some do.

Lol ... why should we take away their privilages? they would still beat us... and then phir ye privliages waala 'bahaana' bhi nahin hoga to save face! <img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> By the way, who are we to 'give' or 'take away' these so-called privilages. Sounds like we are talking about cattle or something.
