I dont want to start any new debate. The debate that you want to initiate is alredy going on at many threads. These types of debate only create hatred among members. Only iformative and healthy discusssion should be initiated at different forums.

I too, did not mean any sort of debate here, as I have made an independent & impartial comparison of the two qualifications. just read my posted comments.I never talked about the priorities of employers for any particular qualification.
My point was that, any person with a combination of good personal qualities and most relevant practical experience can be the 1st priority of an employer whether he is ACMA, CA or ACCA.
Tax and Law which you are talking about, are practical subjects and can be better understood by a person who is practising the same rather only passing an exam. The people who are practising these subjects are better equiped even though they haven't passed any professional exam of these subjects. Passing an exam only does not guarantee that one has mastered that subject unless it is followed by practical work.
I have elaborated my point & hope no one should feel an offence to start a new debate now.
